Lisa Rattner is a licensed Clinical Social Worker serving women, families and couples who desire a biblically-based counseling perspective.
With more than twenty-five years of experience and specialized training in biblically-based counseling, she is clinically-trained and Christ-centered in her work with clients. Lisa’s passion is helping women (and their relationships) break through strongholds and navigate through life’s challenges. Her goal is to help her clients find peace and joy while experiencing the fullness of their identities as beloved daughters of their heavenly Father who loves them unconditionally.
Over the span of her career, Lisa has worked with women and families involved in foster care and adoption, and those families who come together through remarriage. As a step-parent herself who with her husband, raised three children, she has a special place in her heart for blended families.
Lisa has a keen sensitivity toward those who are suffering with grief and loss brought on by the death of a loved one, divorce, post-abortion trauma, or illness. Lisa also has experience working with grief associated with trauma. She was part of a team of clinicians who provided counseling to widows and families in a New Jersey community who lost loved ones during the September 11th terrorist attack - one of the most traumatic periods this country has ever experienced.
Lisa’s therapeutic approach is highly interactive and practical. She is an active listener and provides compassionate care, support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address their unique challenges. Call and have a conversation with her to see if there is a fit for counseling!
